InfinityDock by theumad InfinityDock by theumad
This skin is outdated and is now being replaced by [link] (Vark) . Click on the link to download it or find it on my dA profile page :)

Note:
Image for preview only. The actual launchers can be moved individually. They look clustered only to show how many launchers can be fitted in one line.

About:
Ever wanted up to 30 launchers using rainmeter? Well, here they are.

Installation:
Copy the folder "Infinitydock" to your My Documents/Rainmeter/Skins/ (in WinXP)
or
Documents/Rainmeter/Skins/ (in Win Vist & 7)
**Important: Do not change the name of the folder.

Configuration:
Open the file vars.txt
You will see these:
T1=
L1=
A1=

"T" represents the title of the applications such as iTunes.
"L" represents the label or category such as music or media.
"A" represents the application path/directory such as C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe
***The number in front of each letter shows to which dock the letters are referring to.
In this case, they are referring to dock 1.

In order to enable the docks, right click on the rainmeter icon on your taskbar,
and go configs > InfinityDock and choose your docks.

###Docks available: 30

Uses the same architecture as the Enigma skin found here: [link]

I've been using this dock skin since you uploaded it. With dock icons, I usually have to ask the artist to make the ones I need since I don't have Photoshop, but with your skin, I can make whichever ones I want and just change the font when I want them to look different. Thanks so much, I'll be using this forever! Here's a screenshot using it.. [link]

Well, unless you are specifying the correct paths, they should work.

However, you can use this: [link]
Its an upgraded version of this skin ;)

Sucks that I find myself having an impossible time when it comes to configuring or customizing skin's for rainmeter...

I just want a damn dock that will launch Ragnarok and Messenger lol.

But when I get down to the coding it looks like chinese fml.

you can use the new Vark which is simpler to use and doesnt require any coding ;)

This is some really great work! I'd love to see how far you can go with this idea & expand upon it.

Damn, I had a very similar idea

It looks nice, though. And you wouldn't mind if I did something similar, would you? =D

Nice work

sure... but if you are going to use the same architecture or base your skin on this one, don't forget to put proper credits :P

No, in terms of code I'm trying to do my own stuff, but of course, every skin has a little similarity =D

I guess I'll still mention you in the artist comments, so noone is wondering, and of course because this is a great skin :)

Sure thing :P
And if you want, we can work together to create and similar and better skin... that is if you want of course.

Sure, I'm always open for colaborations :)

I'm still waiting for permission from OtisBee to use his font. I actually wanted to use that font, but I'll see what he says ...

Here's where I'm so far (I started yesterday). It's more a mockup than a skin but I got some ideas:
[link]

The idea is to have Measures for CPU/RAM/Weather, whatever aswell. I also though I should include JSMorleys tool for one-click color-changing and I made a file-browser in AutoIT and you could automatically type in the names for the shortcuts.

Should be a bit easier than editing .inis. So it's bascially going to be a config tool like in Tabmeter2 (to give an example).

That's what I've thinking about so far. Ah, and maybe also some different background-bar "skins", or something for the left/right side. I don't know :giggle:

Do you got Skype or ICQ, would make things a bit more easy I guess. And I'm going to have quite a lot time after tomorrow ...

Eh, but ofcourse you can bring in your ideas as well. Not that you're thinking I want you to only do the stuff I don't like to do =D

Each icon shortcut/launcher can be moved. They look clustered in order to show how many could be fitted in a single line. They can obviously be moved.
